WE IMAGINE STABLE HOUSING (W.I.S.H.) – Heard of the W.I.S.H Program?

There are several social services programs available in our various communities, but unfortunately, many people are not aware of these programs or do not know where to look for these services. Given the unprecedented and uncertain times we are living in, I cannot emphasize how vital the availability of these social service programs is for those in need right now.

W.I.S.H. is a program that targets unaccompanied youth (14–17) and young adults (18–24) experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Butler County, Ohio [1]. Their services are free [1], and they just announced an immediate opening for youths (14–17). I agree that while these supportive programs are not long-term solutions, they do provide immediate assistance and short-term relief for those in need. At some point in our lives, we have all needed a helping hand.
